Community Service

Mission Statement: Men of Fraternity putting Community Care into Action.

Our Vision is to support the community in both hands-on means as well as educational advancement around all things Health and Wellness, Education, Food insecurity remediation, and general community well-being. We will accomplish these by connecting the community to health and wellness resources, developing relationships in local school systems enabling us to support and advance current school partnership initiatives, supporting local and global measures to address food insecurities, and most importantly by partnering with and listening to the community on its most pressing needs.

Kappa Kare Committee

Committed to serving as a trusted source for up-to-date healthcare information
to both our chapter members and to the community to which we serve.


Brotherhood and Public Service: The committee intends to coordinate interactive health-related activities and workshops and provide information that promotes a healthy lifestyle for Brothers in the Chapter and also for members of our community. Leadership: This committee will partner with other committees within our chapter as well as with other organizations in the community to sponsor/co-sponsor community-based events such as health fairs and screenings, health awareness, blood drives, and a host of others. Financial Stability: It is our goal to gain the support of local hospitals, practitioners, and other healthcare organizations.

Senior Kappa Committee

Dedicated to retaining and reclaiming members of the fraternity who are 60 years of age and older as active, contributing, fully financial
brothers; to encourage programs that will facilitate their involvement will enhance their well-being; we also encourage our local chapter committees
to involve themselves in community service initiatives that are geared towards senior citizens in their respective service areas.

Social Committee

Dedicated toward strengthening the Bond between the Brothers of Katy-Fulshear Alumni Chapter while increasing the level of engagement between every Brother in a safe and meaningful manner. Focused on enhancing the Katy-Fulshear Alumni Chapter brand by supporting its goals, objectives, and mission of the chapter. Further, the Social Committee plans, coordinates and hosts events to support the chapter and outreach of the surrounding areas of Katy and Fulshear. Ever looking toward increasing awareness of the chapter in support of the goals of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.
